Port forwarding is the process of opening a connection (a port) on your router to allow players outside your network to connect to your server. Trying to start up the server with a shortcut of the regular SWRepublicCommando.exe file will not start the server on startup for unknown reasons. NOTE: If you would like the server to automatically launch when you start up Windows 10, press Win + R to bring up the run window, type in shell:startup, hit enter, copy and paste your UCC.exe shortcut to the new window that comes up. You will need to launch this file every time you wish to start up your server. Move the shortcut to the desktop for easy access. It should look something like this:Ĭlick Apply and Ok. Type in the Target box Engine.ServerCommandlet a space after the quotations. Right click on the shortcut and click on "Properties". Step 4: Right click on UCC.exe and create a shortcut. Try and launch the game using this shortcut from now on. Move the shortcut to your desktop for easy access. Step 3: Right click on CT.exe and create a shortcut. If prompted to replace files, go ahead and replace them. Step 2: Extract the contents of the zip files you downloaded into the System folder. Open GameData folder, then open System folder. Step 1: Right click on Star Wars: Republic Commando in your library, click on Manage, then click on Browse local files.
